How to overcome a fear of shots?
I am deathly afraid of getting shots! My parents are going to force me to get the flu shot and swine flu shot. I don't want to freak out like a little kid when the nurse brings out the needle. I am afraid of the pain and the thought of a needle going into my skin. Any suggestions on how to deal with shots???? Thanks so much!

try not to look at it and think about anything other than the shot… talk to someone and look at them while talking hope this helps hun

go in with a friend and squeeze their hand and talk to them. there’s no other advice really, but good luck!

haha sorry, but this made me think of that song. It’s a small little needle, just squeeze someone’s hand and look the other way. You probably won’t even feel it go in!
