How to fix poor circulation in the legs?
I have pale skin and when I'm cold my legs turn splotchy and purple and my knees get dark. It's not a medical condition because my heart is fine and I'm perfectly healthy but it still bothers me. I love to wear skirts and dresses with bare legs but I'm embarrassed because my legs look pretty gross. Some of my friends tease me about it which annoys me to no end. How can I fix this without wearing tights or pantyhose?

Talk to your cardiologist or doctor about it. If circulation is the problem then they would be numb or tingling under the feet, along the leg. You didn’t mention that. Being cold and bruising…that isn’t normal. Having dark knees? All of us do…it’s normal and shows up more on pale skin. You might want to get a second opinion from another doc.
Walking around, hiking, swimming, yoga, Pilate’s….these all help to work the legs. Basically, anytime you walk or use your legs…you’re getting the blood moving.
Don’t worry about your friends…what do they know? They have their own issues that they don’t want to deal with so they decide to pick on you because you allow it. So…ignore them. Let them gawk.
I’m very pale too…I get it. But, I don’t care what anyone thinks. My father and uncle died of skin cancer. I used to have horrible burns as a child. I’m glad I have pale skin. I don’t mind it at all and I’ve never had an issue with dating. Just be confident…love the way you look!

You could always get a spray tan or some kind of bronzer to put on your legs but I actually like it when girls have pale and splotchy legs.
