How to deal with paranoia while high on marijuana?



Lol before you answer this make sure its to answer my question not telling me to stop. Anyway i always get paranoid when i smoke and i dont enjoy the sweet sweetness of weed no more so how do i stop being scared after i smoke? I usually have to sneak out and my parents have found my pot before i guess thats why i get paranoid.

  1. Stop smoking! It’ll kill your brain cells and make you live your life trying to support your drug addiction! You should think about the childr– Just kidding.

    I suppose you’re a bit of a newcomer to smoking? If so, start off smoking with good friends in a comfortable environment, and once you get used to the high, it’ll be better.

    If you’re not a newcomer though, instead of thinking about the paranoia and negative things, think of good things, and get away from the things that are making you paranoid, i.e. strangers, empty buildings etc.

    Just don’t think about it.

  4. ok i’m not gonna lie, but the simple answer is to stop. I know that’s not what you want to hear, but it’s really the only solution.

    the other thing i guess you could do is go out in the middle of nowhere (like in the woods, maybe?) and smoke there. but really, you should stop. my cousin smokes pot and its hard to watch. I miss the old him. :( I hope you make the right decision, but if you don’t.. well.. not my problem.

  5. You can’t & it gets worse as you continue & even yrs. after you decide to stop even after 27yrs w/out it I still get anxious which is fear wich is paranoid & I smoked every day for ten yrs. stoned the last 4 yrs 24/7.

  6. Uh…… the logical answer would seem to be "stop smoking it". Why would you want to continue smoking something that tastes bad and makes you paranoid? Pot causes paranoia. If you continue to smoke it you will continue to be paranoid. Your choice.

  7. Relax….
    Act like everyone is stoned too, that way you won’t think so hard about it and your paranoia will dissipate.

  8. It goes away with time. I use to always worry my parents would know that I’m high, now I just don’t care. I’m a responsible person, I go to college, work, and get good grades. So I figure if I want to get high to help relax after a stessful exam, than what’s the problem in that. Just relax and let things go.
