  1. If it’s back muscles you have to free them up. When muscles start to give pain it’s because they have tightened up to be that problem. The only way of getting rid of tight muscles is to free them up, stretching can cause muscle strain but won’t give any relief to the tight muscle, it will be tight when you are done. Freeing up the muscles takes the tightness out of the muscle to get the relief you are looking for. Here’s how to free up your back muscles to release the tight muscles in your back for your relief:
    Back:
    (do while sitting)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

  2. The cure-all for sore muscles is movement and stretching! It might hurt to move around when the soreness kicks in, but even going for a short walk can relase some of the lactic acid that has built up. And stretch!

  3. If it’s muscles try stretching throughout the day. If you’re waiting for something, on the bus, just bored, stretch.
