How to ask for birth control without my mother know I have sex?
I am 16, yes, I am young. I have been with my boyfriend for 10 months. My mom does not know we have sex, but I want to get on birth control for all of it uses, how should i go about asking her without telling her I have sex?
Also, what birth control would you recommend for all purpose.

I’m 21, started having sex at 19. when I was 19, I started going to college full time and my mom was able to put me on her health insurance plan. I got on birth control around then for my period. I got baaaaad cramps almost every month. I had wanted the bill for a couple years before that, too. my mom understood my pain and ok’d me getting on birth control.
tell her you want less cramps and lighter, predictable periods.

Say it’s for your period. That’s what I did.. Now I’m on depo. But still use condoms!!!

Tell her you need it for your period. And make sure he’s using condoms too!

Say your periods are irregular and heavy, its making you feel really down and you would like to go on birth control, but dont forget to still use condoms! good luck! x

You don’t have to ask her, You can go to the clinic and they will give it to you without your mother knowing. Also just to let u know, If you ask your mom for any type of birth control shes gonna suspect your having s3x shes not stupid.

Why can’t you be open and honest with your mother? She gave birth to you, and brought you up, and loves you now and forever.
If you’re ashamed of your mother knowing what you’re doing, I think you should listen to that part of your conscience very carefully.
That being said, I honour your decision to use contraception responsibly!
