How the hell do you fight food cravings?
I have like ZERO self control when it comes to junk food. I'm an Italian and my mom bakes alot, so it's hard to have self control, you know? I don't gorge on food or stuff myself or anything, but I'm trying to cut back on eating them. Got any tips for how to fight cravings? Preferably something that doesn't involve pills or medication from a drug store or doctor.

when i got a food craving at home i would just go brush my teeth, that way your mouth feels all fresh and sometimes foods taste nasty right after you brush them
and i would bring a small bottle of breath spray or some listerine when i didnt have access to a tooth brush
it worked for me

Tie a string to your finger, a bright coloured one.
Whenever you reach for food, and you see that string, STOP!
Only eat when you’re hungry.
Hope I helped!

True cravings are the body’s need for a particular enzyme or amino acid that your diet isn’t providing. So try to eat as balanced a diet as possible, then those cravings will diminish.
When you have the junk food, eat healthy food with it – e.g. salad, low fat options, etc.

chew gum. it gives you flavor for a while. and its basically simulating eating.

drink a big glass of water first then you’ll probably want less to eat,

Drink more water. That seems like a cop-out answer, but it does help, in many ways, including filling you up, and also washing things through faster.
Portion control is critical as well. If mom’s putting out loads of cookies, maybe have two of them at three different times throughout the day, instead of ten all at once.
There are many ways to decrease the fat content in baked goods, but, hehehehe, if you’re from an Italian family, such suggestions may be met with a knock on the head, so look out. ;-)
If all else fails (and I say that kiddingly, because there are always so many options) there is always the idea of adding some exercise to your life–even something minor.

There is no need for medication!!!! Just exercise after you eat something you CANT NOT resist. But also remember when the craving comes that there are other options, think to yourself, is this really my favorite, is it worth the extra weight.

Don’t keep junk in your house! If it’s not there, it won’t tempt you! When you start feeling like you do want to snack, drink a glass of water, and give yourself 15 minutes…. By the end of the 15 minutes, your craving should have passed. If not, go for healthy snacks like apples, carrots, crackers, etc. in the house.
Instead of "dieting" try just making better food choices.

Here are my suggestions:
-When you have a craving, wait 15 or 20 minutes before you indulge. Most likely, you won’t want it after waiting.
-Brush your teeth after dinner and then you won’t be tempted to eat late at night.
-If you’re at home, do situps or a 2 minute workout video online (try http://www.exercisetv.tv). That way, you’ll distract yourself from the craving, and feel better if give in and eat it.
-If your craving is at night, try making caffeine free tea. The heat on your throat will most likely fight the craving.
I hope that helps!

I used to get hungry all the time especially watching tv. I found a product that helped stop the cravings and got me real lean. It has in it:
Crave Control Stack
Citrimax™, Phospholean®, Yerba Mate, Guarana – Helps balance those hunger signals by eliminating the excess hunger and cravings.
