How much weight will the raw diet help me lose?
I'm a pretty healthy 17 year old girl but I'm looking to shed a few pounds. Any ball park idea of how much weight I might lose after a month on the raw diet? (Food is issued from a raw restaurant so I know it's legit). I will start to run about a half hour every day.
Thanks!

I have been on raw food diet for a year now. I didn’t do it to lose weight as my weight is pretty normal, but I did it for my health. There are many benefits to raw food eating. You’ll energy will increase, and things will be flowing in your system pretty easily. More energy and more focus.
The thing is to stick with the diet. Avoid sugars. Make sure things you eat are organic. Cook your foods. Add a lot of vegetables and fruits to your diet. Don’t go too extreme as if you do, you’ll be receiving too little of calories. So, don’t torture yourself. It was difficult for me first because I don’t eat any gluten, sugar, or soy. As in your case, it will not be too difficult. Just avoid process foods and NO SODAS. Drink loads of water daily.
Start working out 10 minutes a day, then move on to half an hour, then an hour. And if you can do more then do so. Do exercises that you’ll enjoy. Dancing, playing basketball with a friend, jumping rope. Make your work out an enjoyable as possible. Listening to music does help a great deal. First think in the morning have three cups of water then you can have your breakfast.
Studies have showed drinking water before a meal can decrease overeating.
Eat five times a day! Keep things moving. Don’t stay long hours without food. Have three meals and two snacks. Make sure your dinner is your smallest meal of the day. Breakfast is VERY important.
I did lose few pounds while on the diet, but I really didn’t pay attention to how much weight i was losing. I was just concerned about the health benefits I was receiving. Don’t count calories and don’t count pounds. It might take a while to notice a difference.
Good luck.

Well it will be really helpful, but exact measurement depend upon your body metabolism, i can’t suggest exact figure
but following tips may help u get in better shape in 1-2 months
A good tip is turn vegetarian, don’t cut down on no. of meals, have 5 time meals rather
breakfast of cereals, milk and egg only,
lunch u can have beans on bread, dal rice, bread with baked/ boiled vegetables
have light dinner, again u can have bread and salad, rice with gravy
avoid chicken, cheese, paneer, pizzas and junk food, learn some recipes for healthy food..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
for thighs do lunges, sit-ups, stepper, multi-exercise, leg curls, leg press, jogging, climbing, climbing steps
for arms do dumbell curl, reverse dumbell curl with light weights (15-20-25 reps)
for abs do crucnhes, leg raises etc.
for chest do bench press, dumbell flies, pec dec etc.
Note: I suggest light dumbells over machines. please make sure u do light weights and more reps.
for workout do spot running, like standing at same place u do running motion, arobics, dance, climb stairs till 5 storeys 3-4 times a day. get a pair of light weight dumbells and do arm exercises
swimming is also good exercise
Hey, the raw diet which helped me to lose 5lb in a week, even eating the good fats like eggs, real butter, olive oil, Avocados and raw nuts. But stay away from processed foods and chemicals such as artificial sweeteners, corn syrup, hydrogenated oils. I got all this information from my diet solution program by teaching me “Exactly what to do, what to eat, when to eat, which foods, how to make it ideal and specific to you. …. Good luck
