How much water should I drink in a day to lose weight?



I'm 16, 245 lbs, and 5'10. I know, it's horrible! I want to lose 79 lbs. How much should I drink in order to lose weight?


P.S. I'm also exercising, meaning I don't except to lose weight by just drinking water. Thanks!

  1. Everyday people are supposed to drink half of their body weight but in OZ. It really works in one day a guy lost 15 LBS just by doing that!

  2. I normally drink 1 liter in the morning and another 1 in the afternoon,

    if your pee is clear, steer clear from the water,

    if you pee is dark, drink like a shark

  3. Drink about 6-8 cups of water per day, and more on the days that you exercise. My advice, skip rope everyday, that will lose the fat.

  4. I just drink water with every meal. I think the real amount you’re supposed to drink a day is about 8 cups. But that is the only thing I drink when I’m thirsty or for any meal. Besides milk. I’ve lost about 60 pounds in the last 6 months drinking water like that, exercising, and cutting down portion sizes.
