How much does it cost to see a psychiatrist/psychologist and get medication?
I have issues with depression and anxiety, but I don't really think I can afford to see someone. I was wondering about getting medication and how often I'd have to see someone in order to be able to be put on some sort of meds and how much it would cost for the visits and for the meds.
By the way, I don't have insurance.

It costs what you can afford…. if you have insurance like I do I see my psychiatrist every ohtermonth ($180 for a 15 minute med check), my therapist once a month (I pay $50 each time), and my meds cost me about $100 a month (withut insurance they would cost abotu $800 a month).
You have to taylor your treatment around what you can afford….. you can see a therapist (social worker) for abotu $40 an hour… then see a regular doctor for meds and make sure that you get only meds that are $4 a month at Walmart….. or you can spend thousands a month on treatment…. whatever you can afford. And if you can’t afford even the cheapest… you need to get on touch with your county mental health serivces.. they can get you the help you need for nothing….. every county in the US has one.
