How might a teenager go completely deaf? Like what kind of accident or something?



How might a teenager go completely deaf? Like what type of accident or something?


I'm writing a story about a teenager who *suddenly* becomes completely deaf. I'm not looking for any suggestions that involve her slowly losing her hearing, by listening to loud sounds or something. Like what type of accident might make someone go deaf? Thanks!

    I’m deaf and I got it from meningitis when I was 5.
