How many tubes is a full blood work up?
Like how many things do the test for and how many tubes do they fill?
Also how is a hiv test done?
I have a bit if anxiety and need to clarify a few things for my peace of mind,,, finally after 6 years of running away from doctors!!

Well first of all, you will definately only be stuck one time and then the vials will be filled from that one needle stick. Whew!! Then depending on what you are being tested for will determine how many different vials they will need. You will definately be OK and the tubes fill up relatively fast so no need to worry. The AIDS test will be done from the same blood that is taken in those vials. There is definately nothing to worry about except the initial stick. If you think that you may get weak because of the anticipation or the nervousness, take a bottle of orange juice or some other sugary juice and some crackers with you to drink when you are finished. Just sip it though, don’t down it. No worries, I swear!!!
