How many pounds can I lose off the watermelon diet in a week?



If I go a week with just eating watermelon and drinking water how much weight can I lose.

  1. I’ve lost about 50 pounds, and trust me, that watermelon diet wont do you any good!!!

    Losing weight isn’t about cutting on all the foods in the world!

    Watermelon although very low in calories, has a lot of carbs. I bet you wont lose anything! Because you will storage the sugar and the huge amount of water you will drink!

  2. You won’t lose that much. Besides, unless you plan on eating just watermelon and drinking water for the rest of your life, you’re going to gain all that lost weight (maybe 2 or 3 lbs at the most) back the next week anyways.

  3. That sounds like a person’s body might then have a severe vitamin difficiency. I wouldn’t do it, but that’s just me.

Not to mention how much you’ll gain back after you start eating again, (None) The problem with water based diets is that you have no actual nutrition going into your system, so when you start eating again, your body (still used to running on no food or hardly any) keeps running on hardly any food and stores the extra that it doesn’t use, as fat! (All the food that is more than what the watermelon was giving you) essentially giving you double the wieght you lost back. The best diet, is to eat normally, but less. This is the most healthy to your body and you don’t have to worry about easing yourself back into eating like a normal human being. That’s why not eating and water diets always fail.

    depends on where your starting from. i lose 6pounds in 3 days from drinking juice and water, i also ran 1 hour a day. It was all water weight though, not fat.
