How many calories are in homemade vegetable soup?

How many calories do you think are in it? Exactly one bowl and the vegetables are including green squash & carrots and maybe one drumstick chicken leg? Please let me know as soon as possible and if you don't know give me a range like 200-400?
Please let me know as soon as possible thank you !

  1. If you don’t have any starchy veggies like corn or potatoes, and it’s a clear vegetable broth (not cream or say a split pea type), most soups come in at about 100-200 calories per cup (a cup being an average serving, or about the same as half a tin of most canned soups). Even with starchy veggies it seldom exceeds 200 calories a cup, but that will depend on the amount of those veggies you have.

That’s why soup is a great thing to eat while dieting. It’s so low in calories and is more exciting than plain veggies.

  2. I think if you are that concerned about calories, you have a problem. Vegetable soup doesn’t have many calories. You have to have some calories to survive. Your body needs food. Be more concerned about how many calories in ice cream than in nutritious food like vegetable soup.
