How long to use my hand normally after finger fracture?

I broke 2 fingers and am getting surgery in 2 days. I will take off my cast 4 weeks after the surgery. I'm just wondering how long it should take after the cast is off to be able to drive, lift weights and do what I did before the injury?

I would wait a week to a week and a half. But go easy when you first start doing those things again

I would wait at least 4 days just to be safe

probably 2 months… XD depending on the break. youll be in physical therapy you may even have a brace after the cast.
