How long does it typically take for your body to absorb tylenol on an empty stomach?
My son just took a tylenol fast melt and he threw it up within about 25 minutes. I could see the purple color from the pill, so I'm not sure how much he absorbed. Should I give him another now, wait a little bit, or wait a couple hours and assume he got most of the medicine?

It takes about 20 minutes, and there is NOTHING wrong with taking it on an empty stomach.

You should NEVER take that stuff on an empty stomach. He was absorbing it too quickly, that’s why he threw up. If he’s sick, try to feed him some juice or chicken broth. Wait another hour after giving food if possible.
