How long does it take to get a dental bridge for missing teeth?

How long will it take for the dentist to put it in from the time I make an appointment, like I know you have to wait about 6 months for an implant, but don't know about a bridge.

  1. You should wait for healing of the extracted tooth to take place. This will be a couple of months. A bridge requires 2 appointments spaced 2-3 weeks apart. So you would get a bridge quicker.

  2. I disagree with grandpa walleye. You don’t have to wait for it to heal to get a bridge. We do immediates all the time. That is when they make the bridge and pull the tooth when they cement the bridge in. My lab takes 2 weeks to get a porcelain to metal bridge made. We do rush cases in the 1 week range all the time. We also advertise 24 hour porcelain fused to metal service, for double the price.
