How long does it take for moisturizer to absorb into the skin?

My girlfriend is making me put moisturizer on my face after showering. I also have to put another cream-type medication on before sleeping. Yet, there are only so many minutes of time between the end of a shower and bed time (I shower at night).

How long does it take for the moisturizer to effectively sink in, after which I can put on my other medication cream?

  1. depends wat moisturizer. mines takes like half an hour or an hour

  2. a few minutes at most for me

  3. i would say 5 min would be good enough. to apply the medication u dont really have to wait that long

  4. some do, some do not, depend on the quality. I only use Shaklee product, they are the FINEST GUARANTEED.

  5. Lotion will clog up your pores and make you start breaking out into
    acne. pimples. whatever.

Don’t do that unless you WANT pimples.

If you have dry skin, then get a special type or face cream.

And to answer your question, It only takes as long as it does to run it in:]

  6. don’t put a lot on, just a little bit but put it all over your face. It only takes like five minutes I’m sure you can sit up in bed and read something or who says you can’t go to sleep? If you don’t put a lot on, then its not gonna get on the opillow that much.

  7. about 30 seconds. if you put it on right when you get out of the shower, it helps. Your pores are open and ready to be moisturized. Just rub it in like lotion.

  8. it depends which moisturizer is you are using some take 10 to 15 min and
    some 30min too.
