How long does it take for braces to stop hurting without the separators?
I just got braces yesterday. I don't have separators. My braces are making my teeth very sore right now and they are very uncomfortable. It didn't hurt as much on the first day I got them. Today every time I try to chew it hurts. How long does it take for most of the pain to go away? And do I really have to brush four times a day now that I have braces?
It feels like torture just to have beauty.

1) About 5 days. I know, it sucks =( Just suffer through it. Oh! And take pain medication like ibuprofen! It helps. And put wax on the parts where the pokey stuff is hurting your gums.
2) No, I just brush twice a day. But I use a sonicare toothbrush and am sure to brush thoroughly
