How long does it take for a staph infection to heal and get in the blood stream?
I found out I had staph infection on my feet last night. I am on triple antibiotics,and before I went to the doctor I had it for maybe a week before I went. how long does it take it to heal and how long would it take the infection to get in the blood stream?

As long as the Staph is susceptible to the triple antibiotic ointment, it should heal within a week. Unless you have some other serious medical condition, there is no reason to fear that the bacteria will get into your bloodstream. Your immune system should have no problem dealing with a few errant Staphylococci if they happen to get that far. But they won’t, so don’t sweat it.
