How long does it take fluconazole to cure a yeast infection?
Ever since the end of may i have had pain during sex. Finally last week i went to the doctors and on friday my results came in and i have a yeast infection. My doctor prescribed me fluconazole. on sunday i had sex and it still hurt. by having sex, it is the only way to tell if i still have it since i have no other symptoms. how long does it usually take for the yeast infection to fully heal? i'm guessing it was pretty bad since i've had pain during sex since may..

usually one week for complete recovery but resistant vaginal candidiases some times takes longer time 2or 3 weeks and some times patients suffer from mixed infections as fungal(yeast) and trichomonas any way u will need to visit your doc again
