How long does gynecomastia last during puberty?
I've had problems with this for awhile now and was wondering how long it typically lasts for. I'm 14 and will be 15 in a couple weeks. Its been looking enlarged for awhile now but just recently its been very sore.
I mean the enlarged breast that 65 % perecent of boys get during puberty. Gynecomastia might not be the right term.

Some degree of breast enlargement occurs about half way through puberty in some boys although I think your figure of 65% is rather high. It usually disappears within a year or so but it may take longer in more pronounced cases. In extreme cases, surgery may be recommended but you’re very unlikely to be in this position and the probability is that in 18 months or so at most it will have gone. In the meantime, try not to let it affect your life in any way. Don’t be frightened to take your shirt off when everybody else is! Keeping it on is what will draw attention to yourself! Remember that this enlargement is normal and will be far more evident to you than to anyone else. Hope this helps!
