How long after taking antibiotics will the diarrhea go away?
I just got off antibiotics about a week ago and I'm still having diarrhea. How much longer will it take?
Is there anything I can do to remedy this? I'm eating pretty good and taking vitamins with fiber in them.

This side effect from antibiotics can in some cases last for several months although you usually get over the worst of it after the first or second week and then it gradually gets better.
Perhaps you could try the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, apple sauce and toast).

you should stop the fibre-containing vitamins as they increase your diarrhoeal activity… they tend to add bulk to your nutrition.
if your diarrhoea is caused by bacteria, then the effect of the antibiotics depend on their resistance towards the antibiotic and you can take anti-laxatives
