How long after birth did you start dieting?

I still have 2 months left until I give birth, but I am really excited about getting back to weight watchers. I want to hear from other moms, how long after giving birth did you wait to start a diet. I know that it is recommended 6 weeks until you can start exercising, especially after a c-section. But Im not sure about the dieting guidelines I will ask my doctor at my next appointment, especially since weight watchers is really just a way of eating healthier and not really a diet. Just want to hear when did you start? Please no rude answers!

  1. well a lot of girls that i knew that had babies didn’t need to diet because they looked good/healthy after having a baby. too bad everyone isn’t like that.

  2. Don’t go on a strict diet after child birth. A new born must have natural fats from the mothers milk for the brain and body to grow properly. If you go on a strict salad or veggie diet your starving those from your child. Natural fats are the number one best thing for a child.
Get on a tread mill and walk. My sister sister does this and didn’t change her food intake a slowly lost the weight.
