   Just make sure you wash your hands constantly. Don’t touch your eyes or mouth without washing your hands because it is contagious and if its a child that has it, you know they are not washing there hands all the time and most likely rubbing there eyes and touching something. So just be careful and keep washing!

   You are highly unlikely to get it. Just don’t rub or touch your eyes without first washing your hands. Pink eye is caused by fecal material(i.e. poop, crap, shit) getting into your eye. Farting actually puts tiny particles of it into the air. If you can smell a fart, then you can get pink eye. Although it is extremely rare.

   It’s very contagious, no matter what those other people said. A girl at my job had it, and a guy who doesn’t work near her got it, and another girl who works near her both got it. You make sure not to touch your eyes or near them, wash hands frequently, try to clean surfaces with antibacterial wipes if you can.
