How is stomach connected to the bladder?

When I drink a lot of water, it goes down to the stomach and then subsequently into the bladder causing me to use the restroom. How does this happen? Does the water get absorbed in the large intestine first before getting to the urinary system? If so, then how does liquids get there so quickly while food takes a lot longer?

I HAD to ask this question again since I did not get a decent answer I was looking for.
So you're saying that when the liquid gets absorbed from the intestines the liquid can go to the kidney through other system, right?

  1. food goes through a longer pathway and it takes a lot longer for the intestines to soak up nutrients than water. making urine is easy for the kidneys and fast – it only has to go through the different parts of the kidneys like the calces and then to the ureters.
