How does sex interfere with getting your period on a montly basis?

Ever since I've started having sex my period is very irregular. How does sex interfere with that? & what are ways to keep it coming on a monthly basis?
Also; ways to reduce discharge?
Thank you,

  1. It shouldnt and DOES NOT interfere with your monthly cycle unless you are pregnant. You didnt specify how old you are but I am going to assume you’re in your teens. Often in the teenage years the menstrual cycle will be irregular because of the influx of various hormones and the body trying to adjust to them. The only way to keep your period 100% regulated is by taking an oral contraceptive. As for reducing discharge, you cant. Its the vagina’s natural function, you can wear a panty liner though if it helps.

  2. Assuming you are not pregnant! – sex should not alter the timing of your periods. There must be some other reason for irregularity.
Not sure what kind of discharge you mean. Right after sex, the semen will leave your body especially if you stand up. If you have a different discharge perhaps it is time to see a doc in case you have some kind of infection.

  3. I found sex helped regulate my period. Are you sure there isn’t more stress in your current relationship? Stress can interfere with your cycle.

  4. unless you are preggers, but I’m assuming you’re not, then it shouldn’t change anything

And discharge is your friend. It helps cleanse the vagina

  5. i reconmend the best way to get anywhere is to communicate to your partner
