  1. Excessive and prolonged stress, or the poor ability to cope with stress, can negatively affect everything in our lives: our health, relationships, job performance and emotional well-being. Open Focus is a practical and effective method for reducing stress-related symptoms and enhancing well-being, using principles developed in the field of biofeedback.

  2. Just say it. Tell your parents, get a therapist, maybe find some medication if that doesn’t work. Depression can get severe fast, so get help immediately.

  3. I agree with your other "answerer". Just do it. Doctors are people, too. You never know if they’ve been depressed too, are taking medicines, seeking counseling, etc. There’s no shame in depression. It’s very common and is just an illness like anything else you’d talk to your doctor about. Take care :)

  4. The best thing to do is to be straight forward with your doctor. Tell him how you have been feeling and that its interfering with your life and you need some help to make it better. Let him know all of the things that are going on with you. I know that you don’t want to worry your parents. i didn’t want to either when it happened to me, but in the long run, you really have to think of your health. If you don’t say anything, they are gonna find out about it eventually and they may be even more worried than they would be if you had told them sooner. Depression can make you spiral down fast so you need to talk to someone soon. I hope this helps. Good Luck and don’t worry. there are lots of resources out there to help you. God Bless.

  5. First know that a councillor or psychologist deals with most disturbed of cases in his/her career, yours may be a very common situation… be open and honest when describing your issues.

Trust and request your doctor [hoping s/he has speciality in psychology] not to tell your parents, generally the descriptions are kept confidential between patient and and therapist as part of regulation.

  6. Depresion is very common among 15 year olds. Just tell him the truth

  7. Directly. It is easy. Don’t think that doctor is seating in front of you. Think that you are telling to yourself. You can try closing your eyes and talking at a flow. You can practice some sentences to open up. After opening up, you will pick up directly.
    Best of luck.
    God bless you.
