How do I get my girlfriend to take the morning after pill?
We made a mistake and had unprotected sex, and she's not on birth control. I want her to get emergency contreception, but she says shes too embarassed to go to a clinic or something, and that she knows she won't get pregnant anyway because she just got her period. How do I get her to take it? We're both 17 btw.

Firstly girls are very embarrassed when it comes to anyone knowing about their sex life. As males are more confident why don’t you go and get it for her, these kind of things you can buy at most chemists such as boots. However you don’t want to keep having to buy them so you should recommend your girlfriend goes to a clinic and asks to go on the pill. Tell her not to worry , every girl does these kind of things and no one is going to think badly of her , she has no reason to be embarrassed. Im on the pill and it has saved me so much money , no having to buy condoms and never having to worry about being pregnant. You should also talk to her about the implant as this is a very good protection as well. Remember not to pressure her into anything as this will make her embargoes.

Look why don’t tell her you will go with her to get the pills.

Tell her lots of women go, its normal. they don’t judge people they are there to help
she can still get pregnant now,
im not 100% sure but if you went there and explained to the people your partner/ girl friend is embarrassed to go and you are getting it for her they MIGHT give it to you depending where you live and the clinic

ok you have to tell her not to worry about it. Its either feeling embarrassed getting a pill or having a baby. Just because she just had her period it doesnt mean she wont get pregnant. So if i were you id talk to her and let her know itll be ok. Good luck!
