How do I find the motivation to stop eating?
I screwed today up. This morning, I had to eat wholemeal toast with ham and cheese. Then for lunch, chicken, potatoes and vegetables. And this evening, I had to have pizza.
I feel utterly ashamed that I give up all of my self control to food.
I need to lose weight although by medical definition I don't need to. But they aren't always right.
How do I find the motivation to not eat and not giving into my hunger? I still live with my parents (I'm 16) so it has to be discreet.

What about changing your goal to eating healthier, not stopping eating altogether? Starving yourself won’t get you anywhere and you’ll actually end up gaining more weight (like when you have random cravings cause you’re so hungry that you can’t think straight). Try to have 3 balanced meals a day – sounds kind of boring and preachy, but there are tons of delicious healthy food recipes online, and it’s really worth it. And try not to get so down on yourself when you DO indulge and have a snack or meal that’s maybe not that healthy, it happens and it’s really not that bad. If you eat healthy most of the time you’ll be fine. Good luck and please stay safe.♥

At 16 and a healthy weight, your body might be telling you that it needs more nourishment, making you feel hungry and eat more. However, finding motivation to stay thin might be a lot more difficult than it sounds, and many times can lead to disorders if a person gets frustrated at their lack of motivation. I would suggest instead eating meals that are going to fill you up way more, by eating way less. Try whole wheat/whole grain products, and products high in fibre. you can also get some kind of ground fibre, etc. to mix in with your vegetables. I like to eat Quinoa instead of pasta or rice because it is sooo filling! Good luck!

…to stop eating?
uh, you should go on a healthy 1500 calorie diet, not starvation.
starvation’s going to fuck over your muscles and just turn you into some flabby disgusting thing.

Look dude, i tell my sis all the time, the idea isnt to stop eating but to diet.
I think the best thing i’d do is follow a dieting plan or have a hobby, if you spend time doing a hobby you wouldn’t be over food so much, too busy in the hobby.
Dieting wise follow Bruce Lee’s:

skipping meals is worse for you than taking drugs. You need to eat more and exercise. Keep your eating habits but focus on getting the motivation to exercise more than an hour a day. You can’t not eat, you’ll become week and very ill.

DO NOT starve yourself, skip meals, or purge, it will only make you fatter.
you’re going through one of your last growth spurts, so you are supposed to be eating a lot, just make sure its healthy and you exercise.
What I did is I started running, and exercising, and then everytime you get the urge to eat you remember you just exercised so either 1) You feel like it would be a waste if you just eat all the calories you burned BACK or 2) you will feel like its ok because you are just eating back the calories you just burned so you won’t really gain anything
Also dink lots of water and eat lots of vegetables and fruits because they keep you slim, and fill you up, It is OKAY to eat a lot as long as you make sure its healthy and you’re exercising.

hey, I was having a weight trouble for ages that it was hopeless. I tried a ton of stuff but nothing worked. Until a friend recommended this method, at first I was a bit skeptical but there was nothing to lose and my self esteem was taking a turn for the worse so I felt I needed to tried it out. I didn’t see much result until after the first week, but I was feeling good. After losing that initial weight, which was such a great experience, I worked on developing good diet to keep off the weight. I can’t believe I hadn’t try this sooner. I hope this helps others out there: http://www.quickbreakthroughdiettalk.tk
