How do I bounce back after a day of binge eating?

I decided to skip my gym workout today due to cramps so I also indulged in 2 pieces of lasagna for dinner and just ate 2 pieces of Oreo Pie!! I feel horrible right now as you can imagine the feeling of disgust. How can I feel better about getting back on track? I've done this before but I never learn! Thanks in advance=)

  1. I did the same thing this weekend and I feel soo bloated. I had to work on an assignment and didn’t get enough sleep last night, so I skipped my workout today. *shame on me*

But tomorrow I am going to make my workout intense and for the next week, eat small portions.
I am interested in finding out the answers, too.

  2. So how many extra calories do you think that is? 300? Over the next week, each day, eat about 50 calories less, and the binge is entirely made up for. Don’t freak out; it wasn’t that bad! A little exercise helps too.

  3. You skipped your absolutely vital gym workout because you had cramps ? Oh what an excuse !

Seriously though, one day is fine. I would not consider one day of not eating particularly healthy or eating more then what you ideally would have liked to as being off track. We all have those occasional days where we indulge. You can consider yourself off track when your gym membership expires and your indulgence becomes an everyday occurrence.

So, stop worrying and look on the bright side – tomorrow is a brand spanking new day and with that comes a fresh start because today’s mistakes will be in the past.

  4. HAH!!! I do the exact thing lol. I’ll come home from exercising, like i did today, and eat alot of food cause i’m starving. To be honest, you didn’t even eat that much. I eat along the lines of 1.5 pounds or more when i eat dinner, like chinese food and some yellow cake that i just had now.

You have to take control of your mind and tell yourelf to not eat so much. Drink a big glass of water before you eat, it really helps.
