How do avoid stress without avoiding responsibilities?
I am under a lot of stress right now. And my doctor told me i need to cut down on the stress in my life. Work less. Worry less. Take time off etc. How? I feel stupid asking this but how do i stop worrying and stop stressing without avoiding my responsibilities also?

haha sorry but as a person who dr told her the same thing…i find it difficult to try to be stress free…I work 2 jobs plus a full time student that is living on my own….but what I can tell you is that maybe 2 days of missing work isn’t bad…it was a great way for me to relax…and try to rest..i don’t realized how tired I be until I actually lay down….hope this helps…

Sleep. Lots and lots of sleep.
Soothing things like green tea, tai chi, relaxing music, or maybe even bird song and natures tracks, will help you calm down and not panic so often
Your doctor was right about taking time off, just try to turn off your brain when you’re having a break. I really recommend practicing Tai Chi in the mornings – there are videos on YouTube showing you how – or you could go to some Tai Chi or yoga classes, which help you to relax and flow your body smoothly in time.
