How can i get rid of this bump on my belly button ring?

ive had it for like a year and just a couple days ago this bump started to grow next to the second hole, it bothers me just a bit, but looks gross and im wondering how i can get rid of it other than just cleaning with soap daily cause i do that? i really dont wanna take my belly button ring out and want a way to get rid of the bump.
