How can I get over being put-down and hurt continuously by others?

I had a "best friend" and a few boyfriends who have honestly be very verbally abuse to me. I feel very sensitive always and I always want to kill myself. Sure, I hate stopped talking to them now. I have a lot anger left in my heart because I never stood up for myself and I hate how people can always walk all over. I have been told everything you can imagine in the book by people who were supposedly "my friends" and "my boyfriends"

  1. First, never tolerate being abused by anyone. This is a selfish type of destructive behavior that is intended only to hurt. It sounds like its time for some new friends and activities.

If you feel anger, then go ahead and express it. There is an old saying that anger turned inward turns into depression. You don’t want than to happen. You want to become more verbal about your emotions. To augment self-esteem, make a list of all you accomplishments. Every year you go on in school is based on many accomplishments in each class. GOOD LUCK

  2. You don’t have to necesarilly stand up for yourself the way dumb girls do. You don’t have to say mean things back like faT B*TCH or anything. You don’t have to get in fights.
The strategy I like to do is NOT CARING. It takes a while to actually learn how to not care, but as you practice pretending that you don’t care, you master it.
Here’s what you do, the next time somebody says something that would normally make you feel bad just answer them with a stone cold expression and raise you’re eyebrows. It gives the impression that you don’t care and don’t give a damn.
You can also shake your head slowly and gradually raise your elbows as you show them a crooked smile and say,"I don’t care".
Trust me, not giving them the satisfaction is not letting yourself get walked over.
