does laying out in the sun tanning help get rid of acne?
i've recently tried some new products, and like the rest they turned out unsuccessful
so i was thinking, if laying out in the sun will help your acne go away
and what about the scars, does it make that less or more visible
i know it causes wrinkles and later skin damage
but i was planning on using some sunscreen
and also, does sunscreen prevent you from tanning?
or just protect you from getting skin damage?

i would say washing your face would work better
it makes scars more permanent but less visible if that makes any sense

Anything drying helps with some acne. Find something like clearasil if you have oily skin.

The sun will make your acne and scars darker, just like the rest of your skin. I can’t imagine why you’d think that sun exposure would help. Most acne medications actually suggest that you stay out of the sun, because it just makes things worse. Plus whatever you used before could have made your skin more sensitive to the sun. Sunscreen can’t be good for your face either, being all oily.
Depending on the SPF, it can prevent tanning, but it truly depends on your skin type. And if you don’t apply enough or often enough, you could damage your skin anyway.
I’ve both tanned and sunburned on my back, arms, and face this summer, and it has not helped the acne on my back or face at all. Sunburn is painful besides, and makes your skin peel.
You’d be better off seeing a dermatologist, trying more products, and hydrating. Drinking water and eating less greasy foods definitely helps.

it prevents you from gettin skin damage but it will lower your risk of getting real tan, but yes sun is good for acne especially like beach sun, cause you see they sun makes you like dry up so therefore it drys your zits up and makes them smaller and go away, cholrine water is excellent for them and so is salt water(ocean water)…as for the scars i mean the tan might help blend them in, thats bout it.

yeah it will dry your skin up, also salt water will help to

One cause of acne actually happens to be sun exposure that’s one reason why it’s important to wear sunscreen because sunlight on your acne makes it worse. Plus the affects you get in later life.. sports, wrinkles, skin cancer etc.
Neutrigena sells a good acne kit called advance solutions and they have a scar cream too thats in an orange box but it’s a blue bottle? Don’t remember name
It’s worked for me, my acne is better after only a week and i can tell my scar is lighter :]
Best of luck!

clearisil or clearasil works really good! you rub it in and then wait a few minutes and take it off. i left it on overnight one time and my pimples were gone! yes suntanning does help get rid of acne it dries out the pimples.

NO NO NO!!! no the sun does not get rid of acne. Use pro active scincare or if your female use the controceptive pill diane , brenda or juilette they are all formulated for clear skin.
And sunscreen just protects you from damage you can still tan. However fake tanning is so much better

Sun causes some people to get acne.

no you sweat clogging ur pore and it makes it worse. never helped mee. pool water and ocean water helpp dry them up.

actually it can and probably would make it worse. the rays of the sun can have a drying affect on ur skin which makes u produce oil n makes it leathery making it harder for oxygen to get in and dirt and oil to get out. drink lots of water, exercise a bit…sweating n getting hot is a good way to open and clean out your pores and get a good face wash taht doesnt dry out ur skin. that’ll help
