why am i not losing weight?

for the past 2months I have been eating 800-1000cal a day, some times more but not often and have exercised every other day for 20 to 30 minutes. How come I'm not losing weight? it looks like I'm a little toner but not much weight loss. i don't look like i have lost anything. I'm 5'1 and a teen aged girl and around 120pounds if that helps any.
my stomach is about 35inches
i should be 110pounds and i want at least a kinda flat stomach

  1. maybe your doing the wrong excersizes.

  2. Why do you wanna loose weight you are perfect for your height

  3. well if you look like your getting toned then you might just be gaining muscle!

  4. your not exercisizing enough you need an hour a day.

  5. your growing, thats why.

  6. OMG!!! I’m 4’11 and 124. You’re like the perfect weight lucky :P

  7. i think you are not fat because you are just 120 pounds and 200 pounds rite. i think you are slim because my friend is 135 pounds but she is your height and she is slim not fat at all.

  8. Because you don’t need to lose weight. your perfectly health and for a teen the healthy calorie intake is in the 2000 range. calories give you energy and right now your body is deprived of them. I am 5’1 as well and im a teenager so take it from me. be happy with who u are and this sounds so cheesy but you don’t need to worry about it yet. trust me on this one. go have a snack ( not the 100 calorie pack ones!)

  9. try running if u arent already 4 ur exercise

  10. the reason why you aren’t getting the results you want is mainly do to your exercise routine…an easy way to get the results you want is to remember F.I.T.T meaning frequency, intensity, time and type of exercise. our bodies get used to exercise and therefore we have to increase the above to get the results we want. However don’t over due it so you injure yourself. Fitness and weight loss is a gradual process. To really lose weight and become more fit 60-90 mins of exercise is recommended. remember walking a mile only burns around 100 calories and one lb of fat equals 3,500 cals. Another tip would be make sure youre aware of the calories in drinks and condiments because sometimes we dont even realize how fattening they are

i hope this helps ive taken several college level nutrition and health and fitness classes

  11. Because you’re not eating enough.
