Weight Loss Tips




My qualifications for giving these tips is that I have lost weight many times. These are my own opinions so if you find them helpful good, if not don't use them. This is where I believe weight loss starts, and one key to combat overeating.

  1. Successfull weightloss in my eyes is when you are able to keep the weight off for good. If you have tried many times in the past, and didn’t keep the weight off, it was not successful. You want to do a lifestyle change, not a diet. I am very happy that you are on the right track.. keep it up!!

    I can’t believe you only drank water for 30 days… it seems almost impposible.

  3. I didn’t say successful, I said succesfully meaning losing weight was accomplished, and I also state it was not done correctly, which I believe I am doing now.

  5. i agree…i like to garden, oil paint, or decorate my house. but then i will spend alot of money. hahahahaha. oh well =P

  8. I’d go a step further and say that when I lose weight, all emotions that I suppressed by eating reemerge and must be dealt with. The hardest part of weightloss is at the beginning and at the end. At the beginning, it just looks so far away I feel like it will never be over. At the end, I have to find a way to make it permanent. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have all this effort behind us, our eating habits be healthy and firmly in place? To be so stable I have only 1 size in my closet. Someday.

  17. No thank you! I would love to see that video response. It took me a while to realize why I could not maintain my weight loss, which ended up being the reason I chose to have weight loss surgery with the Lap Band.

  18. i know 100% know i need to find out why i binge.
    i guess it’s the only way i can stop doing it.
    neither me, my doctor, my psychiatrist, my care co-ordinator, my therapist, has worked out the cause yet!
