Our relationship with food is very complex and can sometimes get out of our control. We can change that with behavior modification, control, exercise, and making better food choices. It is my hope that this caring discussion will help motivate people who suffer from this disorder to become more aware that they can find helpful alternatives.   1. One thing to remember is that fatty foods can cure stress. The next time you’re stressful, be conscious! Don’t reach for fat — go exercise or eat a healthy snack. Don’t cure stress with fat.

  2. you’re quite a normal weight, it’s good that you listen to what you say because there’s a lot of people out there who are big hippocrits and tell people how to lose weight and then they just go eat like a burger or something while watching tv

  3. I see in your videos you recommend nuts…I love nuts but they go bad so fast. How do you keep nuts fresh?

  5. Yes, I love them and they are so healthy for you – good fats and plenty of protein. Just keep them in the refrigerator and they will stay nice and fresh. .

    its bad..
    I feel like I’m so far “gone” that I can’t help it.

I’m so glad that i found your videos because I used to eat a whole bunch of stuff just because I felt like I needed to be doing something, then i found some of your exercise videos and I’ve been working out for the past week everyday. I’ve never been more motivated than now. I’m 5’5, 164 and my goal is to get down to 154 by May. Thank you so much for your videos you are such an inspiration.

  15. wow. this is the best advice i’ve ever listened to! thank you ♥. I’m not overweight but i gained a lot of weight during the past 14 months. It was a hard time for me but i’m over it now. It’s time to look forward and loose the weight again :-)

  21. Thanks alot, i have learnt alot in those 20 minutes! It is wierd how things sometimes can be so simple and yet so hard to understand and change…especially when it comes to ones own habits..:P
    I have a question. I see my case as an emotional eater, and i can see that this habit in my mum aswell, so it is something of the moste profound negative habit I have I guess.. I am happy with my bodyweight and eat healthy, still i have this emotinoal relationship with food. Like I am alwys afraid that

  25. I have binge eating disorder,and i AM not happy with my weight and body on some parts, but i am not on a diet,i am not trying to get weight lost,so it is nog always THE thought of a B.E.D person.(sorry for my english).
    I have breakfast every morning, just bread, and lunch, an diner..but after diner (and the other food moments) i just have to wait 15 / 30 minutes and i want to eat again. I am so far in the disease that i think: i must not eat, go away from the kitchen,WHEN im walking to it. :(
