@GivenSkater Push ups activate most of the muscles of the upper body including the pectorals major, anterior deltoids, triceps and the abdominals. @HardTimesHardBodies Sweet! thank you so much man! so, are pushups a generaly good workout for abs? and how many consecutive push ups is good? i can probobly push like 60. is that fairly good?

@GivenSkater You’re welcome! Push ups are one of the BEST exercises. They’re great for developing abs. Most people can’t do 60. That’s easily in the 90th percentile for any age group.

@HardTimesHardBodies Really? im 14. so i take it thats pretty good? im not FAT. infact. im extremely muscular. but im big boned? i guess? i dont know. im not small. im VERY big for my age. but ive turned it into muscle.

@GivenSkater That’s great! Most people cannot do 60 consecutive push ups. No such thing as big boned. Ever see a “fat skeleton”? At your age you most likely have a ton of testosterone in your system. Take advantage of that testosterone by working out hard. You’ll easily pack on even more muscle. Good luck man!

@ISIcyberAGENT Based on those numbers your daily estimated energy expenditure is 2,356 calories. Consume no more than 1,856 calories AND burn 500 cals with exercise each day.
