What the Numbers Mean
Understanding your readings is easy with the Omron 3 SERIES blood pressure monitor. The easy-to-read screen displays your readings in large font and labels each number with a tab along the side.
- Systolic Pressure is the top number on the display. It's the pressure created as your heart contracts to pump blood throughout the body.
- Diastolic Pressure is the bottom number on the display. It's the pressure between beats, when your heart relaxes.
These numbers combine to give you your blood pressure reading (systolic over diastolic pressure).
How to Monitor + Tips
Your blood pressure numbers often change. For instance, your blood pressure in the morning can be significantly different than at night, when you visit a doctor's office, or after exercising. Readings can be way off.,
Some previous reviewers have pointed out that the readings can be off. But I bought it anyway because majority of reviewers gave it a good rate. It turned out to be a bad decision. I have used it for a week and the numbers I got are significantly higher than my latest reading in my doctor’s office. Finally I walked into a medical office inside my company and they compared the readings with the readings from their machine. In worst case, I got 149/86 from my monitor and 122/76 from theirs. What the hack! I have to return it.

Omron BP710,
The Omron BP710 is easy to use and reliable. It is compact and can stored easily. The cuff material is more flexible than that of a previous Omron monitor I have used. I preferred the stiffer material, but that may be a matter of preference. I particularly like the memory function because it eliminates the need for data taking.

low blood pressure,
This monitor works so well that at least the machine won’t raise your blood pressure. It is easy to use, easy to read, and records and remembers previous levels. Well worth the cost; every home should have one.

Outstanding Value,
Never thought much about home blood pressure monitors until my wife said she wanted to purchase one from a flyer she received in the mail. That one had pretty poor reviews but got me to looking at other monitors. Didn’t want to spend a lot of money and this seemed to have overall good reviews, and the price was attractive, so ordered it. Received it quickly (thanks to Prime) and we are very happy with it thus far. In addition, received an email from Ozeri customer support offering any assistance with any question or issue that we might have. Although we’ve only had it a short time, it seems to work as it should. I took it to the local Kroger pharmacy blood pressure machine and compared readings, they both were within a couple of points of each other. The price, reviews, warranty, performance and the company standing behind their product makes this purchase a no-brainer decision.

Impressed,
This is my first foray in wrist digital blood pressure monitors, it seems to be doing it’s job, since this is my first attempt at gauging my blood pressure, I do it on right and left wrist and the numbers are similar I average both numbers and input that numbers in weekly records. Take the 10 breaths to relax and I elevate my arm so it’s at the same level of my heart, and seems to accurate. Try to relax and I wish I could give you more information, but compared to the other reviews on similar wrists monitor this one by far seems to be a good value and if you follow the directions you should be able to receive pretty accurate readings. As you know wrist monitors are not as accurate as arm cuffs, so just be aware of that fact, but so far I am happy with my purchase.

Great Purchase,
As always, my purchase from Amazon was painless and arrived quickly. My wife has been struggling with an arm unit that was bulky and took a long time to set up and get a reading. It was too big to carry in her purse, and she has to check her BP often. This unit worked right out of the box – - is small and easy to use – - and comes with a small case that fits in her purse. I picked this one out due to the reviews and it is perfect for her.
