Will proactiv work better for my skin type?

I have tiny little bumps on my face. It's not acne - it's like from a distance, I look fine but when you get close to me, you can see millions of little bumps and it looks really bad. Like I said, they're not pimples, they're just lots of tiny bumps. I was reading a lot of similar problems of people on Yahoo answers and one of the answerers said that Proactiv actually works better for this type of thing than severe acne. Is this true? Will proactiv be able to rid me of these tiny bumps? I also have oily skin, especially in the spring and summer time. I've realised that in the winter, my skin is kinda dry and I actually like that. Will proactiv also help control oil?

More details:
I'm a 15 year old female
I'm black
The temperature in my state isn't super cold or super hot
I haven't really used any acne treatments. I just wash my face regularly with "oil-free Neutrogena Acne Stress control"

  1. I’ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it’s at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I’m 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I’ve ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It’s unique cause of it’s herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn’t work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes.

  2. Those "little bumps" are actually black heads, which is a form of acne. Just try getting a black head wash such as :

    Best of Luck!

  3. I think proactive is for more sever acne, however, when i used proactive it didn’t help at all. It just depends because i have had my brother who only had a couple pimples and he used proactive and it got rid of his acne. The only thing that i actually liked about proactive was the refining mask because that actually worked for me.

I’m currently using clean and clear for sensitive skin. It harder for me to use certain products since my skin is very sensitive to a lot of items.

truthfully i have oily skin you just need to find a product out their that will control the oil, that kind of what the toner in proactive does, and you need to moisturize your skin everyday especially during the winter. I would recommend the blotting sheets that you can buy in any store they help with oily skin you just blot where you have excess oil to get rid of it.

I would try proactive just to see what the outcome is, i did and it didn’t work at all for my skin though, just move on and try a different product its kind of like trail and error.

Hope this helps and good luck !
