The apricot scrub – after looking for many years trying to find something for myself as I have the same condition, I came across this, and trust me, it does wonders.

black heads and white heads are not acne. They are clogged pores. You need to use a hot steamy wash cloth on your face to loosen the black heads and use a black head removal tool to get rid of them.

If you are set on using St. Ives, go for their green tea line. They’re the ones with the salicylic acid in them so this product is known for preventing and helping to get rid of acne.
I would suggest using Neutrogena’s Acne Foaming Cleanser (the orange gel looking one with the white pump) I’ve found that to be extremely effective in helping my own acne – and I’ve tried almost everything available on the market for acne prevention.
However, if you find it’s sticking around forever you can talk to your doctor about going on birth control for hormone stabilizing. This clears up acne within one month and you’re clear as ever!
PS – do not use the apricot scrub by st. ives. It’s known to make tiny tears in your skin and is way too gritty and harsh on delicate skin (especially dry or acne prone!)
Good luck love! :)

Although there are some great products on the market. It would be better to take a different approach.
This is because you say that your skin is very sensitive and is subject to redness.I have used this ‘no more acne programme’ and found that the results are really great.
Acne is not really a problem with your skin. Acne is an internal and systematic problem. It is more a symptom of a disorder that effects your whole body.If you wish to clear acne for good then I recommend this resource it is full of practical information. There may be a lot of underlying factors that may be the cause of acne such as stress.
Wishing you the best.

A friend of mine had good success using fresh garlic on her acne. Fresh garlic is very easy to use. Just remove its peeling and rub it on your face. It seems to act a natural anti-biotic
The natural extracts from this vegetable can help minimize the redness at the same time can clean the skin.
Hope this helps.
