  1. Tea tree oil is only used as a spot treatment. It dries the pimple really fast but it’s bad to use all over your face. It makes your skin dry and scalely. I keep a big bottle near my sink and I dab it on the bad spots before bed every night. It really helps. I’ve tried everything else and it’s made my acne worse. Clean and clear is the worst of all! Stick with the natural stuff. :)

  2. believe it or not LARD works miracles!!!!!!!!!! hope i helped xoxoxox (:

  3. it all depends. you might have to try a lot of different products before you find one that works for you. trust me ! i’ve gone through just about everything there is on the shelf and even different medications. and only last month did my dermatologist give me medication that has worked! my skins almost completely clear now and it keeps getting better (: so try them both out, if one doesn’t work, the other might. just gotta find out.

  4. i used both. not much helpful.
now i’m using seba med, and it works better.
also, i tried Rose Hip Oil plus tea tree oil mix once, and that works as well.

  5. I’ve heard it does but like Anna said, it all depends on your skin type/condition. What works for some may not work for others.

  6. When I was younger I had bad skin in my tzone. I went to the doctor. They can prescribe you with amazing spot clearing products. I never understand why so many teenagers suffer in silence. The doctor can help! Better than over the counter products. I had this antisceptic rollerball that cleared my spots up perfectly. If the doctor prescribes you with something that doesn’t work then go to a dermatologist. Acne should not be tolerated! You don’t have to live with it! It can be treated!

  7. Okay, I have literally just cleared all my spots in the last three weeks(first half of summer) :)
Over the past like 4 years i have used more-or-less every skin product you can buy in boots or superdrug, but now i’ve found something that isn’t expensive and works pretty quickly.
Superdrug’s Teatree foaming face wash (green liquid in a pump bottle, comes out as white foam).
I use it twice daily and now i havent got a spot in site :D (also, it’s only £2 or £3 a bottle, and is often on 2 for £4 and the bottle lasts a while :) )
It can however dry your skin out so when i used it, i used it on it’s own for the first week-ish, then when my skin stated to clear but also got dry, i used boots cucumber cleansing lotion(although any moisturiser works) afterwards.
I used the clean and clear stuff too, but when i was using it on it’s own, it didnt work, however with the foaming face wash first it’s amazing. I use Clean and Clear advantage quick clear daily treatment wash, clean and clear blackhead clearing cleanser and clean and clear oil free dual action moisturiser.
I used to use the teatree oil spot sticks- didnt help. at all. if anything they made it worse.
    Hope this helped! x

  8. Although there is no cure, acne treatments are available to help control breakout activity. Acne treatments are divided into three categories: topical, systemic, and procedural. The course of treatment is determined by the type and severity of acne.

Knowing your grade of acne will help you choose the most effective treatment plan. Grade I and Grade II (mild to moderate acne) can often be treated with over-the-counter products. A dermatologist must treat Grade III and Grade IV (moderately severe to severe, or cystic acne).
