Whats the best face wash for me?

I have dry skin, and lately i hav been breaking out a lot. The main areas i break out in are my chin (a lot!) and my nose and also i always get one or two little ones on my cheek or in between my eyebrows. My blemishes r usually just red bumps that eventually get really bad and white/pusy so then i pop them, they scab and eventually go away or i pick them (i know, its such a bad habit!) and they leave a scar. And also like every two months i get this ginormous zit that is hard under the surface and it hurts to touch. I have tried a lot of acne treatments but they don't work very well, the best one i have tried so far is the nuetrogena acne therapy system, and it still doesn't quiet do the trick!
I am looking for some inexpensive face wash or cream to help my acne clear up, what would u suggest?

And dont say proactive cause iv tried it and it doesn't work for me.

  1. I have dry skin that tends to break out on occasion too and it’s so hard to find a product that doesn’t dry you out more or isn’t so greasy it causes acne. I’ve had a lot of luck with phisoderm. It gets your skin back to it’s natural balance and won’t dry your skin out like most treatments. If you’re having more breakouts than usual you should think about doing a peel. There are lots of reasonably priced ones that work really well. Right now I’m using the Regenerist Olay one($20) that is microderm and peel in one kit. It doesn’t irritate my dry skin, helps keep the pores small and cleans out any dirt that will cause pimples later. Here’s a link so you can check it out – it’s all available at most drug stores, WalMart and Target. Good luck and hope this helps.

  2. Proactiv is terrible!

I tried everything and I’ve come down to my two favorite things. The dermatologist (we are best buds) and Lush Cosmetics.

The stuff he gave me if for oily skin so it wont work. But find one in your area (might even be in the place where you get your physicals) and schedule an appointment. Neutrogena is the best brand (my prescription stuff is that)

    MOISTURIZING IS KEY.

Also, keep in mind that you have to wait at least two months for the product to reach its potential and to stay away from compact make-up. The waxes in that kind of make-up will break you out more.

  3. You should try Neutrogena oil free acne wash because it takes away the oil and dirt and works for me.

  4. Hmm…well the only thing I know of that has worked for me was the classic basic skin care from MK, I used the "for oily or blemish control" cleanser, toner, and lotion –didn’t do the mask. Try it, and it if it doesn’t work then ask for your money back, they do thttp://www.marykay.com/bvelazquez/skincare/classicbasicskincare/default.aspxhat.
