What's the best acne treatment?

I have a few pimples that won't go away. I have very sensitive skin & when i used Proactive & MaxClarity they both turn my skin yellow, dark & dry! its so frustrating!! Can anyone please tell me about any home made remedy??
i used neutrogena, none or those things are working so i prefer to use a home made treatment. I don't need another store bought product to make my skin dry

  1. I would use a neutrogena product. i use skin id and it is great and only $30 every however many months you want it. I love it and it doesn’t dry out your skin which is the best! or try the rapid clear 7day acne kit from them. it works get too and is only $15. good luck and homemade remedy’s don’t work the best

  2. what about neutrogena? skin id?

  3. drink lot of water

  4. Have you tried leaving them alone? Often times, acne will heal itself just fine. If you really want to try something, I’d first suggest icing them. This can help reduce the swelling and might help them heal faster. Some people react to ice badly though, and it can potentially have no effect. I find that ice will usually help a little bit, and can help speed up the drying out time of pustule blemishes (the ones with large white pus heads). It’s recommended that you ice it on and off for at least 20 minutes, and a few times a day. Make sure you wrap the ice up in a towel. If this doesn’t work, you can try the opposite and apply a hot compress to it. This will usually help bring the blemish to a head faster so that it can go through the healing stages faster. This can cause sensitivity issues though. I have never tried hot compresses because I also have very sensitive skin and find that heat aggravates my sensitivity issues (on my entire body).

If you want actual products, you can try something such as applying diluted tea tree oil to the blemishes at night. I am sensitive to tea tree oil and find it is too drying. It might also break me out, I can’t tell though. You can also try honey applied to the spot, but it has to be raw honey.
