Whats a good & inexpensive facial exfoliater? (Best answer 10 points!!!)?
I've got like one, maybe two serious pimples, about five microscopic blackheads around & on my nose, but mostly my problem is all these skin colored bumps on:
*My forehead
*My cheeks
*My nose
*My temples
*My chin
But these are also very mild.
However, they are hard to get rid of. I talked to a Clinique professional and she told me:
~They might be from a) conditioner dripping down from my hair and not being completely washed off or b) they could have been a pimple being formed that then stopped itself
~To get rid of them, try exfoliating
I've started to only use conditioner on my ends. I wash my face twice a day, then use a toner, then moisturize with an oil-free moisturizer, then apply Clean & Clear Acne Spot Treatment in problem areas, which works for serious pimples, but not so much the skin-colored bumps or blackheads.
I would really like to clear up my skin before school starts (which is in 1 week) so any tips on what I can do?
I was thinking of steaming my face and then poping the blackheads, any comments on that?
Thxx♥
Btw, please don't reccomend anything that requires a prescription! And also, I was thinking of getting Clean & Clear Deep Cleaning Astrigent. Comments? Thxx again♥

Hi,
I have had the same problem and i swear by cold water. After you have had a shower turn the cold tap on for about 30 secs, try and stay under. When you wash your face and body under warm water your pores open which lets you wash but if them pores are left open, dirt will just get back in so cold water closes them. Cold water also firms the skin, just an extra bonus!!!!
I use organic surge facial exfoliator, available from boots, ebay or superdrug. All their products are absolutely fantastic (trust me,ive tried so many its untrue). I also have the nightcream which makes your skin so soft and looking great when i wake up.I also use their face mask which is great, such a good product. Organic surge works for people with sensitive skin and people who dont want harsh chemicals on their face.
Lastly, out of all the produts i have ever used nothing works well as my fave SUDOCREM!!!! Its only 1.99 from any supermarket, boots, superdrug, chemists. (Yes i know its for napy rash but its a proven fact that it works for drying up spots and quickening up the healing process).
Yes steaming your face is a good thing to do. It works by opening all your pores and the dirt basically sweats out of you. But remember that them pores need closing. ]
Hope this helps you, good luck x

Easy and homemade: honey, sugar and lemon juice. If you make too much you can make a lemonade:d

trust me on this one: do not get anyyyyything else but st. ive’s apricot scrub, blackhead & blemish formula, if you want it to work. i am 18 and have used this since i was 13, and before that my mom used it. my dad and sister do too. it keeps your skin clearer and softer than anything else you’ll get at the drug store. use it every other day in the shower, it exfoliates more thoroughly than anything else i’ve used (which is basically every brand drug stores sell–i’ve tried a bunch of things). also use a normal salicylic acid/benzoyl peroxide acne regimen and a gentle moisturizer to your liking. but as for exfoliating–buy this!! i think it’s like $4-$7 and they sell it at walgreens, cvs, rite aid, whatever. lots of magazines have always recommended this and i remember in seventeen magazine it was a "reader’s choice pick" for beauty products at least once. i’m so adamant about having you try this because i love spreading the word about it (bc once you try it, it’ll be one of your go-to products–ive never had anyone not LOVE it). make sure you massage it on your face for a minute or so. hope this helps :)
don’t pop the blackheads though, steam your face and then apply a peel-off mask (key word: peel-off!), let it dry, then… well, peel it off! popping is generally bad, and though i do it someeetimes when i have a zit, it can leave bruises if youre popping blackheads since they’re "flat" and it’s hard to press on that area without being rough on the skin around it. good luck!
