What the heck is wrong with my face!!?
Alright I am tired of this! I've had acne for a long time now. Last year around this same time I broke out with bad bad acne....I tried every single freaking treatment for it. I used various of the cheap tube stuff that you can find at wal-mart. Didn't work. I tried proactive. Didn't work. I went to the dermatologist, he prescribed me some pills and two different pastes. Didn't work. I put freaking potatoes on my face. Didn't work. Than I basically just gave up. Stopped all treatment and just forgot about it.
Alright so then this summer that just passed I spent out of the country. And for some reason, while I was out of the country....I HAD VERY LITTLE ACNE! O_O (By the way, while I was out of the country I was very very happy, best time of my life). Okay so then as soon as I got back home I started slowly getting more and more acne. AND NOW IM BREAKING OUT AGAIN!! AHHHHHHHH
What the flip! Im so tired of this! What should I do?!? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you’re happier, you probably weren’t fussing with your face, and you were probably using less products. So be happy!
FYI: ProActiv contains a known carcinogen, at a percentage known to promote skin cancer. Acne medication could worsen what ever allergies you have, so instead of trying out one product after another, you’re actually spreading it around. The beauty industry is a billion dollar business, and as you’ve discovered none of those that have been recommend to you even from your dermatologist DIDN’T work.
I’ve never tried acne products. NEVER. For one thing, I don’t want to poison my skin. Soap (liquid or bar) had always been the original and ONLY solution, and I’ve known about this from my uncle who was a nurse, and my aunt who was also a nurse. From reading magazines (Women’s Day, Ladies’ Home Journal, Good Housekeeping NOT fashion mags), who try to educate people and why the beauty industry is a billion dollar business.
The less products you use, the better for your skin. Use a bath wash like Suave Bath & Body wash in the shower, use a washcloth. Treat your face like the rest of your body, take a shower everyday or wash your face everyday.
The secret is keeping your face clean and oil-free. I also don’t use liquid on my face for anything, and very little moisturizer, not even a dime size. Since my face is not dry. Good skin also comes from your good genes. Increase your fresh fruits & vegetables 3-5 servings per day. And programmed your mind to do this day after day, for the rest of your life.

Use Natural soaps they are very mild will not dry out the skin. Sounds like you are an adult instead of using all those creams try using a light moisturizing cream dry skin gets irritated easy and breaks out. You might be allergic to something your using. Exotic Charcoal Bamboo Black Soap from http://www.soapnbath contains activated charcoal powder, natural bamboo, fragrance-free, and no coloring added. This soap will leave your skin clean and detoxified while still feeling soft. This natural soap is hypoallergenic and has beautiful, natural dark suds.
Nothing to break you out with i no it sounds wrong but moisturizing really does work i used to break out till i started using a moisturizing cream and Natural soaps.

Please don’t be aggressive with your skin. I know you want to get rid of acne fast, but trust me all of these over the counter products that have like 2% benzoyl peroxide. I am not a dermatologist, but I have suffered acne for many many years. I learned that you can’t cure it, at least when you are younger. However, you can treat it. Ok, so I have tried many products. From my experience, a soap called "cuticura" was the best. It is an antibacterial soap and I loved it. It only costs like $3. I can’t find it in the stores anymore, but I know it is online. Also, I tried Neutrogena Stress control creme cleanser and I really like it. All make up and lotions I put on my face are oil free and noncomodogenic (won’t clog pores). I know for experience that make up and lotions that are grease will make you break out like WOW. Be patient. In my personal experience, milk makes my skin break out.

It could be your stress. When you were out of the country you might be relaxed because new place, out of the routine.
Stress causes worsening of Acne in two ways:
By stimulating adrenal glands to produce more epinephrine & noradrenaline hormones. These two hormones stimulates the sebaceous gland to secret more sebum, which ultimately results in formation acne.
Stress decrease the healing capacity of the immune system up to 40%.
Lack of sleep or not sleeping at proper time could be the another reason. Lack of sleep could cause hormonal imbalance. lack of sleep cause improper digestion that is one reason of worsen acne.
weather could be a reason too. Humid and sticky weather with dust pollution block the pores of the skin, as a result the sebum( oil from sebaceous gland) get trapped which helps bacteria to multiply and the skin get infected.
There could be others triggers too like food, soap, skin care, trying to squeeze the infected area, moisture from your pillow cover.
Here are some suggestion which might be helpful to you
Drink 2 glasses of lukewarm water with half lemon squeeze in it, on empty stomach after waking up in the morning
Try to combat stress by relaxing with music, walking or take Natural Vitamin B complex.
Don’t eat any dairy products except sugar free yogurt.
wash your face two times with product containing patented stabilized sodium chlorite combined with salicylic acid to keep pores clean, clear.
Don’t use any soap.
Don’t rub your face with towel just pat dry.
Don’t eat spicy,oily food.

chickpea flour mixed with water. apply on your face, massage it very nicely, let it dry for about 2-4 mins. then wash it with warm water. its natural so you can do it as many times you want, but it tends to dry your skin. use honey after it. just apply a bit of honey to your face.
and its best if you put the chickpea flour in the morning and before you go to sleep at night. thats definately going to clean your skin.
otherwise. another thing is :
chickpea flour, milk, turmeric powder, normal flour. mix it and put it on your face, massage and wash with warm water or use a hot towel to remove dry skin. and put honey {best} or normal cream.
