What ritual should I follow when it comes to washing my face?

I have combination skin..
Oil is around the T-zone mostly the nose...
And my face comes off as really shiny! Even when it's not that oily!
Also, I have very little acne (mostly whiteheads, some blackheads)
Just around the nose.... You can't really tell but they hurt sometimes and bother me...

I need a step by step process that will help prevent this.
Thanks! :)

also, is toner recommended?

  1. dude, clense tone and moisterise.

I can’t recomend a product for you but Id go the a pharmascist, get something for your young skin.

  2. I don’t think that what you use to wash your face really matters, as long as it isn’t oily. If I was you, I would just start to wash your face twice a day, once in the morning, and once before you go to sleep. It helps a lot, but it might take awhile before you start noticing a difference. i find that the prducts don’t work that well. Just keep it simple. =]

  3. after washing use cold water on ur face10 times do it in a pit patter way

  4. sometimes washing your fash to much can actually cause more breakouts. I used to wash my face twice a day and my acne would get really bad. then i started washing my face every other day and my face cleared up.

  5. do this twice daily:
wash your face with a mild cleanser. start with warm water to open up your pores and gently massage it into your skin. then rinse with cold water.
    try neutregena grape fruit cleanser.

apply a toner(yes i do recommend it!) to gte rid of excess oil, makeup, or cleanser. put it on your t-zone only.

apply a oil free moisturizer to your face before you put on any makeup.
    try neutregena oil free moisturizer

    twice a week:
exfoliate with a scrub after you cleanse.
    try st.ives apricot scrub

    once daily:
try a spot treatment, press a hot towel onto the zit open up the pore, then apply the spot treatment.
    try clean and clear

  6. first see what product you will use. i do proactive. yes it is pricey but you will see results. also you can try clean and clear. try to exfoliate
every other day. apply powder after cleaning your face to try and get rid of the shiny look or if you have no powder mineral veil is good to.

p.s a quick recipe for exfoliating scrub?
    a lot of lotion
    salt and Sugar

pour a bottle of lotion in a big container. put enough salt in to where you have a paste but can feel the salt. add a tiny bit of sugar.

it gets dead skin and makes skin soft :)
