What kind of Acne is this?

Ok,
I have been breaking out lately with a weird kind of acne. I normally just get whiteheads and blackheads but this acne breakout is different. It starts with a really painful bump that takes a while to surface. Sometimes they are small and other times they are bigger. When I try to break them a yellowish clear fluid drains and then right away it will be inflammed and puffed up again. It usually takes a few weeks for it to go away.

This acne as also been going in my ear which really hurts like hell.

I have done everything under the sun. I wash my face twice daily with a medical antibacterial cleaner.
So I am wondering what type of acne this may called.

I also noticed that if I eat sugary foods this seems to make this type of acne come out more.

But whatever typr of acne it is, it is painful witha burning sensation. No matter how much squeezing I do, it just gets reinfected.
Does anyone know what acne this may be???

  1. That sort of acne just hasn’t had the bacteria surface yet. Don’t (if you must) pop it until it is a whitehead.

As far as your ears go, I’ve had acne in my ears as well. You can clean them out, like you would wash your face. Treat it as a normal pimple. You’re right, they hurt like crazy!!! I just clean my ear with wash and then apply acne medicine (Clean and Clear) on it.

    Good luck!!!

  2. i really think this is pimples. go to a dermatologist to help it…

  3. This is a break out under the skin. I suggest going to the dermatologist because over-the-counter products only treat surface break outs.

  4. cysts? i i think cause they seem to fit the discription.

and go to a dermatologist they sound really painful!

  5. this may be cystic acne. If the bumps are fairly hard, last a long time, and are extremely difficult to pop, that’s what I would say they are. I have these–mostly on my neck under my chin. I’ve also had this in my ear, a lot. I would recommend getting a pill with sulfur in it (try MSM, available at health-food stores) and drink a TON of water. I’ve had good results with this and using AcneFree (available at Sam’s club) which is similar to Proactive. Hope this helps!

  6. It sounds like cystic acne. It normally forms on the jaw line. When I had it, it usually took a couple of weeks to get rid of.
