What is the difference between Retin-A Micro and Retin-A? Also, opinions on Obagi?

I have tried Retin-A micro for my acne (mostly blackheads and whiteheads and inflammatory red spots) in the past but it didn't really work. On the tube it says "tretinoin" or something...
Recently, a skin-care professional told me to use Retin-A and showed me a tube that looked very different from my old one...is there any difference between the two products?

Also, any takes on the Obagi skin care line?

Thanks!

  1. i was wondering that myself, but i think its the percentage of retinol in the product. I havent seen both side by side to say for sure, but i think retin-A is stronger than retin a micro. im going to the dermatologist tommorrow and try to confirm it for ya…
i heard about obagi but never tried it…
