What is the best brand to help get rid & prevent future acne and breakouts??
This MUST be available in Canada.
I'm looking for brand names, e.g. Clean & Clear
Thx in advance!

Accutane is the ONLY cure for cystic acne. All other medications will manage the acne, but as soon as you go off the medicine, or stop the skin regime, the acne comes back.
Accutane actually strips the internal pores from the excessive oil production from the inside out where other medications and topical stuff are working from the outside.
I put all three of my kids on Accutane the minute they started breaking out. I did not want them to have the scars on their faces like I STILL have on my face from cystic acne.
As far a skin regiment goes Pro Active, Neurtragena, Clean and Clear, or Clearasil products are fine–just get the stuff for acne and use it consistently. I personally use the Intaglio products for acne, but these are a little more expensive and must be purchased through a dermatologist or esthetician
First use your cleanser (preferably with salycilic acid in it)
I mix my cleanser with a small amount of gritty exfoiliant first and then finish with just the cleanser.
Then use OXY 10 pads (this is like the rinse in the washer cylce) you will be amazed at how dirty your pad will be after you wipe–even after washing your face. This is probablly the the BEST tip I can give you–always use the Oxt 10 pad after washing your face.
Next is a resurfacing gel or toner with slycilic acid.
Then acen medication with benzoyle peroxide 10%
If I need a moisturizer after that, just use one for acne prone skin that doesn’t clog pores.
Your makeup shoud also a brand that won’t clog pores.
I hope this helps.
